About
Who is Innoventor
I began my career as a Design Engineer, holding a degree in Agricultural Engineering, where I developed a strong grounding in practical, production-focused design. From there, I progressed into a career as an Application Engineer, working closely with customers to solve complex engineering challenges and apply technology effectively within real manufacturing environments.
This transition allowed me to build a diverse customer base across a wide range of manufacturing and engineering sectors, from small specialist operations to large industrial organisations. Throughout my career, my work has centred around 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD), the production of detailed manufacturing drawings, CAD system configuration and customisation, and the delivery of ongoing technical support and training.
My skill set also includes finite element analysis (FEA) on both individual components and complete structures, enabling informed design decisions against performance and safety requirements.
In addition, I have extensive experience in 3D point cloud analysis and clash detection, supporting layout validation, retrofit projects, and complex installations where accuracy and spatial coordination are critical.
I take a pragmatic, solutions-led approach to engineering and am not afraid to challenge established ways of thinking when it leads to better outcomes. I regularly liaise with third-party suppliers to evaluate and implement products and technologies that best align with my customers’ technical, commercial, and operational requirements — ensuring solutions are effective, robust, and fit for purpose.
